Anahira stood at the edge of her town where she grew up, light creatures of many sorts crowded behind her. A strange eclipse had just gone down, and in conclusion of it, a portal of sorts had been formed. As the leader, Anahira was forced to figure out what it is and why it was there. She hovered over to the rip in the air, gently passing her hand through it. It rippled like water, and her hand dissapeared, but nothing more but a coldness on her hand. Anahira narrowed her blue eyes and turned to look at her people, bowing her head slightly. "I will return soon," She said, her voice smooth like the rain, "Do not worry, for whatever is through here, I will make through alive and return." There was silence, and she turned back to the portal, hesitating a moment before pushing through.
Anahira emerged into a world unlike her own, but yet similar. She was in a forest, and it was dark all around. The stars and the moon shone brightly in the sky. It seems as though the times in both worlds were alike. "They must have had the eclipse here as well," She said softly. She spun around suddanly, hearing a sound behind her. A small furry brown creature darted up a tree, its bushy tail waving and its beady black eyes wide with fear. Anahira shook her head in exasperation and floated forwards timidly, wondering what she would find in this world.

Likewise, in the Twilight Realm, a similar scene was playing out... Ambrosia looked at the portal-type... Thing that had appeared just following the eclipse, arms crossed. Of course everyone else was there, too; This wasn't exactly a normal occurrence, now was it? But regardless. Ambrosia walked stiffly to this portal, and stared at it, sticking a claw, then her whole hand through, as (though she and all others were unaware at the time) was happening in another realm at the same time. Upon pulling her hand back and seeing it was still attached to her arm, she nodded to herself, as if ending some silent debate in her head. "I'll be back. Soon." She declared, adding another comment, "Alive and well." She said, smiling slightly. Upon being greeted by nothing more significant than murmurs in the crowd, she turned around and walked right on through.
She looked around. It was a forest, as green and lush as they come; Or so she thought, given that, aside for remote similarities (like the existence of forests) this... place, this... world... seemed to be rather different than her own. She could hear clearly the movements of many things. Looking up, she saw... stars, and the moon above. Sighing, she shook her head. /Not the time to get homesick,/ she thought to herself. At least the time was the same. That was good... Not that it mattered to someone used to perpetually existing in twilight. She looked around, thinking that there were probably better forms to take here than her Hybrid form. She shrugged; /Nothing I can do about it but keep on moving onward./ Having thought this, she started forward.

Anahira was moving forwards as well, her ears perked for any sounds. She floated silently though the foliage, cursing that she gave of a faint trace of a glow. She froze in place, her feet hitting the floor, hearing something, someone. She dashed up to a tree to hide behind it, glancing out. She immediatly saw a strange creature, one unlike she had ever seen before. She wrapped her finger around a lock of hair nervously before stepping out of the shadows with narrowed eyes, in a defensive stance. "State your name and buisness," She hissed, her voice changing from rain to ice.

Ambrosia's fine-tuned hearing picked up something as she went, but she kept on moving forward until said something, someone really, stepped out of the shadows. "Well aren't we all sweetness and sparkles." Ambrosia laughed a little. "My name would be Ambrosia, and as for purpose, well... Can't say I have much of one other than getting adjusted to this place. As for you...?

Anahira crossed her arms, having no time for laughter or games. "I am Anahira, leader of the Sacred Realm," She said curtly, gazing around, "I came form a portal of sorts, caused by a strange eclipse in my world. It lead me here." She tapped her finger on her elbo for a moment, observing Ambrosia through narrowed eyes. "Do you come from this land?" She asked.

Ambrosia chuckled. "You're quite formal and all." She grinned. "Interesting about the eclipse... I saw it too, y'know." "Yeah, and it made this portal to a world inhabited by dragon people pop up for you. Wooo! Scary!" Ambrosia laughed for a few seconds before continuing. "Oh, but honestly, No, and I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume the same is true of you given that you're asking me if I'm from here. Oh, and yeah, given that that's the case, I'm from this nice little place called the Twilight Realm? Yeah. Did I mention it's nice? I think I did. Did I mention I lead it? I don't believe so. So right back at ya."

Anahira narrowed her eyes furiously, finding this dragon greatly overwhelming and quite confusing. She coughed slightly, her chin raising in the air. "Well, Im sure your Twilight realm is a wonderful place," She said plainly, blinking her pure eyes, "Anyways, have you seen any other beings in this land?" She added through slightly clenched teeth, "Besides myself?"

Ambrosia laughed again. "Oh yes it is. More so than this place..." She shrugged. "And no, I have not seen anything that is not particularly inanimate, save for you." She grinned. "Yeah you just narrowly avoided setting yourself up for that one."

Arahina gave off a sarcastic smile, blinking. "Yes," She replied, gazing around her with mild curiosity. She floated up to a tree, observing it. It smelt of life, and of dirt. Arahina crinkled her nose slightly, then flapped her wings to hover over the trees, returning down to Ambrosia. "These trees carry on for as far as the eye can see," She said, puckering her lips in discontent. "There could be anything in these forests."

Ambrosia shrugged. "I think the two of us proved that, all by ourselves. Though honestly I would like to know what lives here. It is better, always, to blend in." She nodded, grinning.

Anahira blinked and looked down at herself, realizing that blending in wouldnt be so easy for her. She did her best to dim the light, she tucked in her wings and she pushed her antenae behind her head. She then stopped hovering and landed on the ground with her feet, shifting uncomfortably over the dirty moist ground. She coughed and looked around her again, wondering what could be hiding in here.

From the shadows of the forest, a small girl lurked, her blue eyes wide with curiosity and fear as she observed the two new creatures. Portals? Portals to another world? She gasped softly, crouching down low just incase they heard. The eclipse had done nothing more then made a few animals a little ansy in her world, but maybe that wasnt it. Maybe there really was an entrance to a new world, with different creatures. Keira had to consider this option, seeing as two strang and very different creatures were living proof right infront of her. She had to tell the others, but not yet. She needed more information.

Ambrosia's hears twitched, picking up a slight noise. "One moment," she said to Anahira, sniffed, then whirled around toward Keira, fine-tuned senses picking out the slightest of differences in the brush. "There would appear to be something there that is somewhat sentient." She stated, and her form shimmered for a moment, and was suddenly that of a human. "Perfect." She added, with a note of finality, twirling the ribbon tied around her braid around her finger.

Keira gasped in shock as the creature not only turned towards her, but also turned into a human. She let out a soft squeal and fell backwards, meeting eyes with Anahira and getting frozed to the spot. Anahira floated forwards, reaching out her hand towards Keira in a kind motion. "Do not be afraid, young one," She said softly in her smooth voice. Keiras shaky hand reached for a dagger, holding it close, ready to strike. Anahira pulled back and tilted her head, turning to Ambrosia. "She is not exactly friendly," She said bluntly, crossing her arms and moving forwards a bit, so her light shone on Keira. The girl raised her arm to block the light from her eyes, leaning back and not sure what to do.

Ambrosia walked over, slowly, deliberately; getting used to the balance of this sort of creature. "Friendly is not the question, I don't believe. Frightened is the question. Out of place. The both of us already are quite familiar with that, don't you think..?"
